Maybe Angelina wasn’t happy that Brad was trying to bring “The Rachel” back.
In what is sad news for the Brangelina family, and a feeding frenzy for the tabloid business, People has confirmed that Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt after just two years of marriage. Brad has already released this statement:
“I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”
Meaning: Back off, buzzards.
As we prepare for the onslaught of articles speculating what went wrong, the New York Post is already claiming Angelina hired a private investigator who discovered Brad was having an affair with Marion Cotillard. TMZ naturally has also pounced on the action, alleging substance abuse, anger and conflict over raising the kids. And Twitter? Well, Twitter is responding with a stampede of Jennifer Aniston reaction GIFs which, while a bit silly and anti-feminist, is nonetheless entertaining.
